Gold Coast City Athletics Track
A synthetic athletic track is used by FTS predominantly for track sessions
Ashmore PCYC Fitness Centre
Used as our main weights training facility. We are able to do our strength training & cross training here.
Sandhills, Various
We do some sand sessions mainly through the off season.
Grasshills, Ormeau
We are fortunate to have found a grasshill track .
Pool Sessions
Conducted at various aquatic centres in our local areas.

Training Methods
Put simply, FTS training is built on hard, but quality sessions. We use a variety of cross training methods which assist greatly in times of injury, and also help to keep athletes fresh at training and competition. We do track sessions, grasshills, sandhills, stair running, pool sessions, weight training, cardio & boxing. These are all scheduled dependant on the time of the year and the outcomes required.
Training Days
The training days for senior squad can vary with sessions/locations but they train Monday to Saturday with Sunday generally a total rest day.
