As a sprinter, rugby league and rugby union player, Tony Fairweather has a solid understanding of what makes athletes tick. He builds good rapport and knows the level of training involved. He gets the best out of his runners by instilling self-belief and desire to achieve a goal.
Tony has been coaching sprinters since the late 80s and has progressed from coaching junior athletes to seniors at international level.
Tony's sprinting experience started with the professional league. He travelled the country to attend different meets and enjoyed the challenge of improving. Soon he achieved success in pro ranks winning numerous Gift races as well as the Stawell backmarkers 400m race. Tony has also won national titles in the Masters competitions (over both 200m and 400m) plus numerous state medals.
